Paid graduate and undergraduate summer internships are now open. We are also accepting applications for internships for Fall 2010.
General requirements are: experience with web-based research, MS Word, and Excel; excellent writing skills; and ability to commit to a regular schedule of work.
Intern projects may include policy research, organizing, or communications/media relations work, depending on EOI’s needs and student interests and abilities. Possible areas of focus include, but are not limited to: work-life standards, retirement security, higher education, state economic development, and early childhood education. We're also looking for one or two interns to assist with research and writing of our flagship publication, The State of Working Washington. Projects may be tailored to satisfy requirements for school credit.
To apply for a student internship, please send a resume and a cover letter describing why you would like to work at EOI, your specific interests that align with our work, and your projected start and ending dates to "hannah (at) eoionline (dot) org". Internships are typically 10 weeks in length; exact start and end dates are flexible.
We anticipate completing our initial screening of candidates in mid- to late April, with interviews and final selections to follow.
Feel free to contact us for additional information.
