Building an Economy that Works for Everyone

2009 Annual Event: What Price is Right?

priceisrightlogoCome on down!

It’s been over 50 years since The Price is Right began challenging contestants – most often women – to guess the price of consumer goods and “showcase” their ability to make sound financial decisions at home.

Since then, most women have entered the workforce; today they earn the majority of college degrees. Yet women still lag men in achieving economic security – during their working years and in retirement.

EOI’s 2009 annual event featured a showcase showdown of new public policies to improve women’s economic security. We celebrated past achievements and charted a course toward future policy successes that will help all people realize their dreams.
