Aubrey Davis – longtime board member and friend of the Economic Opportunity Institute – died Sunday. Read more about this civic giant, who helped found Group Health, secured funding for the downtown bus tunnel, pushed for the lush lid over I-90 on Mercer Island, and invented a no-slip compound still used on house decks around the country, in today’s Seattle Times.
