What’s missing from this photo? Well, despite Seattle’s rainy reputation, we’re hoping for snow! And you can help make that happen.
Every falling snowflake adds up to something bigger — just like each contribution to EOI adds up to big changes in public policies that help create good jobs and build an economy that works for everyone.
EOI is a donor-supported, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We know that when we join together, we achieve more — so for every $100 raised, we’ll add a snowflake to our photo. To make the holiday cheer go farther, all gifts received by Dec. 31st will be matched — up to $10,000!*
Will you help make it snow with a tax-deductible year-end contribution?
Our ambitious 2016 policy agenda includes advocating for:
- The Equal Pay Opportunity Act, because women shouldn’t get paid less than men for doing the same work.
Statewide paid sick days, so every Washington worker can care for themselves or a loved one when they get sick, without losing pay.
- Progressive tax reform, so students of all ages can get a quality education, health care coverage can be extended to everyone, and no one has to live in fear of aging into poverty..
- Pay It Forward, to open up access to college for every generation by creating a social insurance program for higher education.
- Pregnant worker accommodations to protect women’s health with reasonable employer accommodations during pregnancy, and raising the state minimum wage.
Please consider making a gift to EOI as 2015 draws to a close. Together, we can build an economy that won’t leave anyone out in the cold.
Thank you and happy holidays.
