Number of Children Enrolled   Approximately 6 slots available for typically developing children.
Age Group Served   3- and 4-year-olds
Eligibility   Open to all, but preference given to special ed children .
Selection Process   Random drawing held to assign spaces available to typically developing children.
Funding Source   Parent-paid tuition of $50/month plus $20 registration fee, for non-special education children. No low-income assistance; if eligible, referred to local Head Start program.
Program Evaluation   No response to survey.
Unmet Demand   Yes, greater demand than capacity necessitated random drawing to fill available spaces.
Plans for Expanded Offering   No. In fact, despite high demand, district expects to discontinue integrated model program since the number of developmentally delayed children is increasing and they have priority. There are also administrative difficulties with collecting tuition for the non-special ed children.
