Program Description

Integrated with special education preschool 3 days/week and is part of high school vocational education. Preschool teacher teaches early childhood education (ECE) material to the high school students. (This is the primary goal of the program)

Program has a partnership with community college which allows high school students to earn credits in the ECE program. The preschool teacher is becoming a STARS trainer. The district also has a child care center which was formerly for teen parents but is now open to district staff.
