Selection Process

All kindergarteners are screened. Children with high academic needs are enrolled in the full-day classes. Other slots are filled by lottery. The district aims to have a mix of students, not all high performing or all low performing.

No program but there is a program at the high school for teen moms. Some extra slots are usually offered to staff. The district would like to offer preschool but is unable to due to funding constraints and focus on education reform requirements.
