Program Description

 

District offers a half-day preschool program with 2 components: 1) ECEAP at 4 elementary schools; and 2) program using Initiative 728 funds for children who are at-risk and low-income but not ECEAP eligible at 1 elementary school.

Kindergarten teacher and parents have given positive input about program's impacts. Assessment of skills development and volunteer documentation have shown positive student impact and strong parent volunteer support.
