- Minimum Wage: Raise the state minimum wage to $12 over 4 years
Educational Opportunity
- Early learning & care compensation: Provide financial incentives/compensation for child care providers and teachers with higher education certifications
- Pay It Forward: Enable students and families to avoid the tuition-and-debt system with income-based graduate contributions
- New public revenue: Take steps to reform Washington’s tax structure to amply fund education from preschool through higher ed and provide essential services for shared prosperity
Health Care Access
- Continuity of Care: Create a task force and direct study of health care access and affordability, as well as an assessment of potential solutions to fill gaps, such as the Basic Health Option
- Health Care For All: Establish intent to have universal health coverage in Washington by 2020

- START Act: Establish a state-administered retirement savings plan for workers in small businesses
