A Strong Majority of Voters are Concerned About Getting Time Off When Needed for Their Families:
Women are more concerned than men about all of the issues surveyed, except for spending time with kids and the amount they pay in taxes where there is no statistical difference between the two groups. Voters who are employed and those who are not (retirees, students, homemakers, unemployed) show roughly the same level of concern about all of these issues.
Not surprisingly, respondents with children at home are much more concerned about spending enough time with their children (81% concerned vs. 49% concerned). Voters who are likely to care for an aging relative in the next five years are more concerned about that issue than voters who are not (67% vs. 57%), although the difference is not dramatic.
