Building a stronger middle class

The people and businesses now benefitting from the status quo are quick to promote the notion that public employees are overcompensated. They want to drive a wedge between public servants and underpaid private sector employees. That's an upside down conversation. What we should be doing is encouraging workers to demand better wages and benefits in the private sector.
