Building an Economy that Works for Everyone

Location changes for Transforming WA’s Budget

Due to large crowds at the first two public meetings, state officials have decided to move the last two meetings, July 27th in Vancouver and July 29th In Spokane, to larger venues. Officials also shortened presentations by OFM staffers at the beginning of the meeting, allowing more time for public comment. The new locations:

July 27th, 7 to 9 p.m.
Gaiser Hall, Clark College
1933 Fort Vancouver Way
Vancouver, Washington

July 29th, 5 to 7 p.m.
Lair Student Center (Bldg #6), Spokane Community College
1810 North Greene Street
Spokane, Washington

If you live in the Vancouver or Spokane areas, consider attending a meeting to tell the Governor and Committee members why more consideration should be given to the revenue side of the equation. Here are some ideas to get you started.
